Back in the City

Ahhh, back to Buenos Aires ... back to our sweet metro pad with chilly A/C and the lovely tree-lined Calle Guatemala. It's wierdly good to be back "home" ... the crushing beauty of Patagonia and the Andes was strangely exhausting ... though maybe ... that might have been due to the constant moving around. But there's also something involved with the emotional ride of a trip like that. Anyway, its nice to be back in town, although it's also all those things that it always was and I definitely miss the mountains, not to mention home home. But it's nice to meander the cobblestone avenues to my favorite cafe for some coffee and eggs and not be "doing" anything.

Though that won't last cuz the wonderous duo of Regan and Zach are gonna be here tomorrow mornin' and we're madly stoked for that. We got a new apartment for a week to show them around the city and then we're probably heading back out to the mountains for some camping. We're on the home stretch now for sure. Aiming at blasting back to the great white north around 22 February. I'm personally really looking forward to coming home, though I certainly will miss many things about summer in South America, without a doubt.
