Sounds sexy doesn't it? Monte ... viday ... oh. Montevideo. We're off on a boat tomorrow to the capital of Uruguay to hook up with Estebon Gone ... hopefully get a camera ... and shoot jubilant snapshots of each other on the beach.
Montevideo ... unlike Buenos Aires, has miles of great beaches right downtown. It's a chill spot about the size of Portland and people say it's like BA without the LA. Other people call it the Newark of Buenos Aires. Either way it's a cool spot. Very secular ... very socialist ... very stable ... highly educated ... mate' drinkin' and chilled out. Probably gonna do some hosteling for a few days and enjoy the break from the city. Hopefully some photos soon.
